Buildings and Improvements
The City issues building permits and letters of compliance. When planning any building, addition to an existing structure, and fence, a resident should contact the City Council person overseeing Buildings and Improvements. Detail plans and specifications for all planned buildings and/or improvements should be submitted to this council member. When the plans and specifications have been approved, a building permit or letter of compliance will be issued. Building permits for fences, utility sheds, playhouses, and other auxiliary structure will be issued by the city. Permits for houses, garages, and building additions will be issued by the Jefferson County Code Enforcement Division upon the presentation of a letter of compliance from the City of St. Regis Park.
