A vacancy now exists on the St. Regis Park City Council. St. Regis Park Ordinance No. 4, Series 2012-2013 “Regarding Vacancies on the City Council” states in part that any vacant position must be advertised.
Any resident (does not have to be a property owner) who is a registered voter and has lived in the City for at least one year may submit a resume to the City office. Resumes may be submitted by either e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or by first class mail to the following address:

The City Clerk must receive all resumes no later than Friday, May 31, 2013. The Council shall review the resumes to insure all requirements are met. Interviews will then be conducted on the date of the next regular City Council Meeting, June 4, 2013. After interviewing all qualified candidates, the City Council will make a recommendation to fill the vacancy. The position will be filled by a majority vote of Council Members.
